Ahmed Baki

Founder and CEO

Based in Dubai with over 26 years of hospitality management experience in the Middle East Region. Ahmed has a proven long successful track record of vast Middle East experience, dedication and passion for the hotel industry. He started his career in Sheraton in Dubai, UAE and for a tenure of 23 years, he has proved his loyalty, started leading and inspiring teams at a very young age, proving himself and growing rapidly to key managerial positions, until he became the Area Director for the Sales and Marketing in the region, then he moved to Starwood Hotels, to represent 50 operating hotels in the Middle East and 20 underdevelopment, to drive, coordinate and supervise the sales and marketing efforts and teams of the 70 hotels in 13 countries in the Middle East Region.  Ahmed then moved to Majid Al Futtaim to head their Hotel Business Unit and Asset Management Department, to create the business strategy, marketing, communication (MARCOM), brand, vision, and DNA that clearly identifies Majed Al Futtaim Properties Hotels irrespective of the operating brand involved. His role involved identifying new opportunities, promote the corporate culture, new business and shopping malls hotel loyalty concierge, working on hotel openings with the operators, resource planning (organisational development/recruitment/training/motivation), counselling, creativity, innovation and performance.


Regional Director of Sales | Middle East

Based in Dubai, with 27 years of successful advancement and extensive experience in the hospitality industry in the region. Ehab started his career in 1991 as a Sales Executive in Sheraton El Gizerah Hotel and Towers in Cairo until he became the Assistant Director of Sales for the hotel. In 2002 he moved to the GCC in different key managerial positions, his first post was in Sheraton Dammam as the Director of Sales and Marketing, followed by Sheraton Sanaa and then Sheraton Deira Hotel in Dubai where he achieved the hotels financial and non-financial targets. In 2008 he moved to Starwood Regional Office as the Regional Account Manager focusing on promoting and selling Starwood Hotels in the Middle East.

In his last role, as the Director of Business Development of Starwood Sales Office for the Middle East, Ehab was actively selling a wide portfolio of luxury hotels and brands, which helped him acquire new key contacts, establish and maintain strong business tie-ups with multiple business segments and markets regionally and globally.

In his long journey Ehab attended a number of trainings, seminars, conferences and represented Starwood hotels in multiple Roadshows and Int’l travel trade exhibitions.

Ehab has joined Claviger to boost the sales activities and lead the sales team in driving the expansion and performance of the Claviger business in the Middle East Market.

Sarah Farid

Director of Sales, Luxury Segment | KSA

Based in Riyadh, Sarah brings wealth of experience in the luxury segment in KSA. Sarah’s background with top luxury international hotels chains and ladies’ VIP travel sections, as well as her personal networks of TOP VIPs and Royal Family members makes her a specialist in the luxury segment sales in the Kingdom.


Director of Sales | KSA

Based in Jeddah since 2011, and prior to that in Dubai since 2003, with 15 years of full time hospitality dedicated work experience covering the entire Middle East Region, Saeed is a talented, passionate, well-rounded sales expert, who started his career in Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, as a Sales Executive for the Middle East Market, then became the Sales Manager for the Middle East for The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, and then moved to Jeddah with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide for 6 years to become the Global Account Director for the Global Sales Office based in KSA.

To enhance the hospitality learning experience, and conform to the best practices with hotel and lodging industry, Saeed has taken a variety of very impressive hospitality education, training and hotel management certifications.

In his role with Claviger Middle East, Saeed is leading the sales strategy for our preferred partner hotels in KSA, through identifying new channels, developing the existing ones, expanding and strengthening our reach to the VIP and HNWI leisure travellers, government and key corporate accounts and the travel trade network.


Assistant Director of Sales | KSA

Based in Riyadh since 2004, with 15 years of full time work experience, starting off in the real estate luxury property sales field with Damac, then moving to the hotel industry in 2009, as the Sales Manager for Novotel Al Anoud in Riyadh, followed by a good 8 years at Four Season Hotel in Riyadh where Faisal was the Senior Catering Sales Manager for the hotel.

Faisal has a proven sales record and a wealth of experience and trainings in sales tactics and negotiations. In his role with Claviger, Faisal is assisting the Sales Director in spreading the awareness and reach of our preferred partner hotels’ profiles and offerings, boosting and increasing the demand and hence, the reservations.

Logan Oliva

Associate Director of Sales, UAE

Based in Dubai and with background in luxury hospitality sales & marketing as well as DMC/Event Management with 5 years’ experience in the region. Logan is a hands-on sales professional with a well-established network in MICE, corporate and leisure business in the UAE.


Sales Manager | UAE

Based in Abu Dhabi since 2012 and graduated from Vatel International Business School Hotel in Bordeaux, France. Malak has moved between different hotel properties and roles within, which made her gain a wealth of knowledge, skills and expertise at a very young age, starting as the Sales & Groups Coordinator in Anantara Regional Sales Office in Abu Dhabi, then Events Executive for the Eastern Mangroves Hotel by Anantara, then moved to Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche where she was an Events Executive for Weddings & Government Events then became aSales Executive specialised in Government & Protocol at the same hotel, then moved to Bab Al Qasr Hotel by Biltmore to become the Sales Manager for Government & Protocol bookings.

In her role with Claviger Middle East, and with a focus on Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Malak is responsible for designing and implementing strategies and techniques that expands company’s customer base, ensure its strong presence and achieve the sales targets.

Ahmed Aly

Regional Director of Sales, Events | Middle East

Based in Dubai, 15 years in the region, with extensive sales and event management experience with international hotel groups, as well as in the position of the Regional Director of Sales at HPN Global, one of the largest Site Selection and Venue Finding companies in the United States of America.

Rania Saba

Regional Director of Marketing | Middle East

Recently based in Egypt, after 12 years of living and working in Dubai, and 1 year in London, Rania comes with more than 16 years of accomplishment-laden experience in the media (planning and buying across all platforms, publishing, PR, events and real estate retail (promotion, media and short-term leasing) holding regional senior posts in key organisations in the GCC and Middle East.

Rania derived achievement of the highest priority sales growth, brand development, product launch, market share, distribution expansion and operations efficiency goals for all her clients throughout her career.

To name a few of Rania’s past employers; Starcom MediaVest (SMV), Optimum Media Direction (OMD), Information Technology & Publishing (ITP Media Group), and Majed Al Futtaim Properties.

Rania has joined Claviger to head the marketing activities and lead the branding, advertising and media teams in driving the growth and performance of the Claviger brand and business, and also the Claviger preferred hotel partners’ brand and business in the Middle East market.

Finance Manager

Based in Dubai, has been in the region for the last 5 years, with thorough experience in accounting and finance locally and internationally having worked with international hotels brands in Qatar and UAE.


Office Manager

Based in Dubai, with 6 years office management experience, selling, coordinating and supporting the Sales & Marketing Team for International and Luxury Hotel Chain.
