CEO and Founder
The Egyptian born founder of the company started his impressive hospitality career in 1993 with the Sheraton Creek Hotel in Dubai where he worked his way up from Sales Trainee to Director of Sales and Marketing. He was instrumental to launch the hotel after a full renovation and led the remarkable financial performance of the hotel with a successful positioning in the flourishing market of Dubai.
In 2002 he assumed responsibility of 17 additional hotels as Area Director of Sales & Marketing and successfully coordinated and supervised all sales and marketing activities of the group, which transitioned during those years into Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Ahmed was then promoted to a regional role as Regional Director of Sales & Marketing Middle East for Starwood Hotels & Resorts and in the years between 2006 and 2015 he was part of a team that grew the region to over 50 operating hotels plus 20 pre-openings. He took part to establish the company’s 10 distinctive brands in the region that contributed significantly to Starwood’s growth in the EAME division. During this time, he participated in several senior management training courses and global pilot projects that enhanced his knowledge of international business.
Early 2015 he decided to further extend his experience by venturing out of the hospitality industry into a related field and he joined MAF as Head of Sales & Marketing MAF properties – Hotel Business Unit and Asset Management. With a solid background of hotel operation, he was able to implement new strategies and activities for the various brands of his responsibilities. During his tenure with the company, he introduced a loyalty program with a private concierge service to assist high net worth shoppers. He also established important cross-industry partnerships to enhance exposure of all business units.
Ahmed then finally decided to benefit of his rich experience in the industry by launching his very own agency – Claviger – a Sales & Marketing representation that connects customers from the Middle East to Hotels or other institutions globally. His deep understanding of the region has driven this decision, as he clearly sees an opportunity for this upcoming and growing outbound market.

Based in Dubai, has been in the region for the last 15 years, working as Group Director of Sales and Marketing for regional luxury hotel groups, as well as Director of Sales – Leisure, Gulf Region for Jumeirah group. In addition to that, worked with Chic Collection, global marketing association of luxury hotels.

Based in Dubai,15 years in the region, with extensive sales and event management experience with international hotel groups as well as Regional Director of Sales at HPN Global one of the largest Site Selection and Venue Finding in Dubai.
Based in Dubai, with his past experience in the telecommunications and technology sector, he is perfectly position in working with major telecommunication corporate clients in UAE. In addition to that, closely working with sports associations, medical and healthcare clients as well as retail clients.
Director of Sales
Based in Dubai, covering the whole region, with 12 years of experience in the UAE (both Dubai and Abu Dhabi), working in senior sales positions with Anantara and Starwood. In depth knowledge and experience, as well as developed network in Government, semi Government and diplomatic sector. In addition to that, working with all major corporate and leisure clients in the region as well.
